Independence University has been around for 25 years and accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). This university offers an online associates degree program in the Associates in Allied Health. This program is for anyone interested in learning the skills to begin a technician career.

The American Intercontinental University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Associate, Bachelor’s and Master"s degrees. The AIU is proud to have an online degree program that utilizes highly-sophisticated technology and multimedia. The AIU Online Associate of Arts in Business Administration in Healthcare Administration focuses on teaching their students the ethical and business aspects of having a technician’s career.

South University requires their student to have a high school diploma or have the equivalent GED with a score of 225 or higher. South University has the regional accreditation of Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The university offers an Associates Degree in Allied Health Science for anyone who likes to start their technician career less than one year.

Keiser University’s only requirement is for students under the age of 21, to make direct contact with the school. The university is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Keiser University offers an online degree in Associate of Science in Medical Assisting. On the other hand, Kaplan University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Anyone interested can take a degree in Associate’s in Medical Assisting. This program is well-recommended for individuals who needs a flexible schedule and only needs a short time to accomplish it.
